Dennis Dunn

Pastor

Pastor Dennis, from Shreveport, was called to the ministry twenty-nine years ago as a young coach.
“I thought God was calling me into full-time ministry. He was… He just let me keep my whistle.” Married to Melanie for over 30 years, they are blessed with four children: Derek, Leslie & Lauren (who are twins), and Lindsey. They also have 10 grandchildren.
Kingdom Vision: “That the body of Christ realizes the freedom it has here on earth, based on the promises of God’s word and begin to fully operate in the authority it has been given as sons and daughters of the most high God”.
Church Vision: “To share the benefits of freedom and healing to the people of Central Louisiana from a Christ-centered, biblical perspective”.
Favorite hobbies: Hunting and lifting weights.

George Barrett

Pastor

Pastor George is from Georgetown, Louisiana. The Lord called him to the ministry in 1980. George has been married to Delores for 50 years, and they have two children: Wendy and Josh, plus 2 grandchildren.
 
Kingdom/Church Vision: “To set the captives free, and the healing of the church body, physically and emotionally”.
 
Favorite hobbies: Hunting and Fishing

Roger Corley

Pastor

Roger was called to be an elder / pastor at ROC in 2018.   He has been a teacher and small group leader since 1995. 

Roger has worked as an engineer, construction business owner, real estate agent and pharmacy business owner.  

Roger and Darla have been married over 30 years and have 3 children, Hunter, Logan and Sarah. They also have 3 grandchildren and more are coming soon. 

Hobbies:  Fishing

Octavia Williams

Worship Pastor

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Octavia Jackson-Williams relocated to Alexandria, Louisiana. Her journey began singing at an early age and she has been busy spreading the gospel with music ever since.
Octavia is married to Min. Johnny M. Williams Jr. from Birmingham, Alabama.
Prior to becoming a Contemporary Christian Recording Artist (www.simplyoctavia.com) Octavia has filled a role as worship leader for nearly 20 years.
In November of 2013, she debut her single “God Will Deliver”. This fresh sound quickly connected with audiences across culturally diverse communities. Her music is said to impact lives by bringing inspiration and hope. When asked, why music? She replied: “Music soothes the soul, alters the atmosphere and can changes lives. It’s my passion”. She continues, “Real worship is what I do. One of my desires is to help people have a worship experience worth telling others about, in efforts to lead more people to the kingdom of God”.
Her primary mantra is: “Leave nothing to chance, pray about everything”
Favorite Hobbies: Aside from traveling and spending time with her husband, Octavia enjoys watching old movies 

Justin & Kristy St. Romain

Youth Pastor

Justin and Kristy, from Avoyelles Parish, have been married for 16 years and enjoy life with their son, Brylan.  The St. Romains have been in ministry for over 14 years with a heart for teenagers.  Having gone through their own trials and hardships during their teenage years, they know and understand the struggles that teenagers still deal with today in the home, school, jobs, friends and relationships.  Justin and Kristy have a heart for meeting our teenagers right where they are today, loving them through it all.

“Don’t underestimate our teens, they are going through tough situations just as we adults are, they need Jesus just as much!”

Hobbies: Fishing, spending time outdoors, flower gardening and cooking.

Judy Briggs

Children's Director

Married to Anthony Briggs for over 22 years, They have three children;  Michael, Tonya and Amanda and three adopted, Dustin, Devin and Dylan. The couple have been blessed with 13 grandchildren.
 
 Judy has been in Children’s Ministry for 20 years.
 
 Kingdom/Church Vision:
 
“My vision for children’s ministry is to direct them to a relationship with Jesus and help them discover Him as their personal Savior. We like to focus on building a rock-solid foundation based on the word of God in order to prepare them to reach others and enable them to learn about the Father’s love and protection from the evil of this world.”

Work with my hands, turning something old into something new 

Ben & Mable Brown

Church Administrators

Ben, born in LaGrange, Missouri and Mable born in DeRidder, Louisiana, relocated to the Alexandria/Pinevlle area in 1981.
These high school sweethearts have been married 54 years. Blessed with four children: Brent, Barry, Babette, Bretta, ten grand-children and one great grand-daughter.Ben and Mable have served in ministry in various ways since 1994. Mable is a retired Judicial Administrative Assistant to federal judges. “We love the Lord and it is a privilege to serve our God and the people at the ROC.”  Favorite Hobbies: Travel, gardening and enjoying our grandchildren
